Pink and Purple Simple Nails

Hiii Everybody!

The weather is getting absolutely beautiful here in Canada. I love summer and with it comes all things bright. I recently bought a hot pink colour for the nails and I love it! For some reason,  in the pictures it doesn't seem that bright but it actually is pretty bright IRL. So, yeh today i only have these pictures to show you :)

So yes, a quickie post before i go get some ice-cream. Yumm!

Later Alligators!

Polka Dot Wednesday

Hi Guys!

I am absolutely in love with polka dots!! it is soo IN this season. Everything from clothes to shoes to nails seem to be full of polka dots. Ahh they are so cute!

So keeping that in mind i tried out a little polka dots on my nails and here is the final result :

I'll just quickly go through the steps that i went through to create this look.

So Step number 1: Put a coat of clear nail polish on your nails.
Step 2: Apply a coat of Sally Hansen's Tuscan Sun as shown in the picture below. If you want something very simple on your nails, this by itself looks pretty good ^___^. Also, loads of dark colors look good to achieve this look.

Step 3: Put either white or light pink dots fairly separated on the top half of nails.

Step 4: Apply a line of Gold Underneath the brown colour as shown below. And the last step would be to finish off with a top coat. And Voila! super easy to do, didnt take me that long to do.

Hope you like this tutorial! I see people starting to come and visit the blog, hopefully after a few more of these posts, i can keep you guys interested.

Please Follow My Blog so that i don;t feel like i'm talking to myself :P

Purple Tip Manicure

Heylo!

Today i'm going to post a few pictures of a manicure that i did with a french tip and also added some flowers to spice it up a little.

The above picture was only with the flowers and the below ones i added a few dots to make it a little more prettier.

I've tried this manicure with different colored tips and i must say you can have a lot of fun with this because french tips look very nice in a variety of different colors. Unfortunately i dont have any other pictures of the other colors that i've tried but in the future if i do it again i'll definitely share it here.

French tip manicures are one of my favorite kinds of nail arts to do because it doesnt take a long time and it has potential for me to be creative and i've seen a lot of nice things posted on the net. So much Fun!

Until next time, Happy Nail Arting! =)

Spring Fever

Spring is here! Flowers are going to be blooming soon so why not add some fun to your nails. One of my favorite Youtube channels for Nail Art is cutepolish. Today i tried one of her tutorials and it looks fab! Check out the pictures below. The link to the tutorial is :

Some of her tutorials are so so cute! So for this one again i only used a peach nail polish (Sally Hansen) as the first coat and then used purple and white for the flowers (some random polish i got from Urban Planet). As i've mentioned in my first post, i will not be concentrating on brand names and that sort of thing for the nail arts because i want you guys to try and have fun and get creative. If you dont have a peach colour, just use pink or any other light colour, it will look just as nice! Here's my final outcome (i just happened to have peach colour at home):

Ill be posting more soon. Happy Nail Arting! =)

Hey Guys!

Hello All you Nail Art lovers!

Welcome to the Simple Nail Fashion blog. :) So i'm just getting into nail art and wow im sooo excited to share all my experiences/ designs/ art or whatever you want to call it with you guys! I know there are loads of stuff out there and why another nail blog you ask? Sometimes i really get fed up looking for new designs all the time so i just want to have a little place on the net with my own creations or creations i tried from looking at other peoples ideas.

The neat thing about my blog is that whatever i post here, you can do it with stuff you find at home. I mean you don't need to go out and get fancy nail art pens or stickers or special kind of polishes. I want you guys to use what you have at home and not spend money on other accessories. My best companion is an old eyeliner brush. I do all the designs with it and the nail polish brush. That's it!

I have a pretty busy life because of college / work so i don't like spending a lot of time on my nails and i'm sure that's the case with most of you! But at the same time, i like to have something different and pretty on my nails. I'm still in the initial stages of this blog, so you'll have to bear with me until i get things up and running.

I'm always receptive to new ideas, so if you guys have any other blogs or tutorials you would like to share with me. You are more than welcome to do so.

Keep checking often for new and innovative designs and ideas!

 Happy Nail Arting! =)
